Halong Bay and Cat Ba Island are the two most beautiful seascapes in Vietnam. Halong is an exellence example of a Karst landscape created by a complex chain of millions of years of geological movement. And Cat Ba Island, former name is The Pearl Isalnd is the largest one in Halong Bay vicinity, with 1,354 square km of the area.
Day 1: Hanoi – Halong – Catba.
Am: 7.30 depart to Halong Bay, arrive in Halong at 11.30 (with stop in Hai Duong city). Lunch in restaurant.
Pm: Get on the boat to visit the Bay and then going to Catba, on the way visit Sung Sot cave. At 3.30pm, stop on the Bay to do kayaking or swimming for 1 hour. Arrive in Catba at 5.30pm. Dinner and sleep in hotel.
Day 2: Catba – Halong – Hanoi.
Am: After breakfast, get on the boat at 8.30am, do a boat trip back to Halong, arrive in Halong at 12.00. Lunch in restaurant.
Pm: Get on the bus back to Hanoi, arrive in Hanoi at 4.30pm.
